This fundraising event provide funds for the purchasing of equipment, training, and travel expenses for the following San Dimas Sheriff’s volunteer groups: Disaster Communication Services, (DCS); Explorers; Mountain Rescue; Mounted Posse; Station Volunteers; Uniformed Reserves and Volunteers on Patrol. In 2010 these Volunteers put in 26,668 total hours, saving the Department over two million dollars so that the sworn Deputies are able to perform their specialized jobs.
